Martial Arts
For all
Komuso System martial arts was established in 1990 by Chris Bayliss Sohei.
The system brings together five traditionally based martial arts: the art of self defence (Goshin Jutsu), the way of the sword (Kendo,Kenjutsu, Iaido) the art of the spear and polearm (Naginata/So jutsu), the beggars art (komoso jutsu) and the way of strategy (Gunpo/Heiho).
We seek to bring you the skills, which might have been practised by the warrior monks of medieval Japan.
Our aim is to blend modern practices to traditional methods, in order to train these techniques, methods and strategies for their original purpose.
Instruction is given by qualified, long standing practitioners of our arts who are passionate about the system and the many benefits its practice brings.
